Splendid. But if Jamie Foxx is a lead actor in Collateral then so is Tom Cruise. I think this is the case and I will change my supporting actor pick to Clive Owen (Closer).
Note: I would have nominated Jamie Foxx (Ray), Tom Cruise, Paul Giamatti, Leonardo DiCaprio and Don Cheadle for best actor.
Nice call on ladder 49 for best song, that is a no brainer and it must have slipped my mind.
Nice call as well on Man on Fire for cinematography. I would have definitely nominated it for this category as well as for editing. The academy lacks vision, you do not.
Thank you for the kind words, but I do believe that Tom Cruise was a supporting actor in Collateral. The only scenes I can think of that he is in that Foxx isn't in are very quick execution scenes, but there are other long running scenes--such as the whole Jada Pinkett start, and when he pretends to be vincent--that Foxx is in but that Cruiose is not. However, Clive Owen is certainly another deserving candidate. That said, I wont be angry when Freeman wins, he's just so damn likable.
